Died Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.
Nancy was born September 14, 1942 in Wisner, Nebraska to Victor and Lenore 'Schlecht' Adams. She was raised in Wisner and graduated from Wisner High School in 1960. She married Fredrick 'Fritz' Wortman in 1960 and they lived in Wisner, Wayne, West Point before moving to Fremont. The couple later divorced. Nancy worked for the phone company in Omaha for 27 years, retiring in 2007.
Nancy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Family was her focus along with her many friends.

Son - Todd (Martha Cervantes) Wortman of Shawnee, KS.
Daughter - Terri (Adrian Bovia) Wortman of Papillion
Brothers - Bill (Joy) Adams of St. Peters, MO.
Roger (LouAnn) Adams of Omaha
Sister - Sally McGuire of Gretna
Brother-in-law - Richard Lancaster
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, infant granddaughter Kayla, brother Stanley and sister Jane Lancaster.
The funeral will be 10am, Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Wisner Cemetery following the lunch.
