Mary Anna Bridges Hynd Long, 78, of Fremont, Nebraska formerly of Arkansas City, Kansas died in her home, Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016.

Mary Anna was born September 15, 1938 in Houston, Texas the daughter of the late Wayne Bridges and Fannie Palmer Bridges O'Brien. Mary Anna was a graduate of Cowley County Community College and Wichita State University. She worked for a number of years at the State Hospital in Winfield, Kansas. She was married to the late James Edward Hynd for 39 years.

Survivors: 4 daughters Patty (Russ) Mach, Fremont, Nebraska; Cindy (Dallas) Littrel, Olathe, Kansas; Phyllis (Mike) Nelson, Valparaiso; Chrissy (Dean) Keefauver, Nashville, Indiana;
1 son David (Angie) Hynd, Edmond, Oklahoma
16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren

Later in life she married Wilbur Long of Arkansas City, KS; before moving to Nebraska for the past four years.
Mary Anna was preceded by her husband James Hynd, sister Joan Bridges Wolford Evans and her parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17th at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont at 3pm.
