Bernice M. Grimm age 92, of Fremont
died Tuesday January 17, 2017 at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Bernice was born to Walter and Nellie (Steinberg) Wegner, November 4, 1924, on the family farm near Scribner where she grew up. She graduated from Scribner High School and later graduated from Wayne State Teacher's College in Wayne, NE. She taught in several Dodge County rural schools. She also taught in public schools in Valley, Norfolk, and Fremont.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she was involved with teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She was a longtime member of her church circle and was active with the church's shut-in visitation team.
On June 11, 1961, Bernice was married to Neil Grimm in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband Neil in April of 2013, by her parents Walter and Nellie, and by brothers Walter, Lyle, and Harold Wegner.

5 grandsons Matt and Nate Grimm of Fremont
Seth, Bryce, and Blake Grimm of Gretna
1 great granddaughter Livi O'Brien of Minatare
The funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Clayton Skurdahl officiating. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Friday, 2 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends 5 to 7 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary.
